We know we are not in Manchester, our Inn situated in the middle of this beautiful countryside and is the birth place of some of the original stories of one the most famous streets in the country.
In 1960 that Tony Warren (creator of the Coronation Street) wrote some of the early episodes of Coronation Street. The picture above shows some of the early cast and in the left corner is a note from Tony Warren telling us of his connection to the Lantern Pike Inn.
